PARTICIPANT AGREEMENTS

 

Devotion to Motion is a shame free, sacred practice, which brings people together in ceremony, 

to move to the universal language of dance.

 

An ecstatic, shamanic, somatic experience, where participants are encouraged to freely move their body to music, 

that has been curated to form the Dancing Freedom Elemental Wave, which journeys through the 5 Elements:

Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Ether.

 

Adults only - anybody who looks under 18 will be asked for ID.

Buttocks, chests, and genitals are to be kept covered. 

Entry will not be permitted 30mins after the advertised start time.

Loud music will be played - if you have sensitive ears please bring ear muffs, or ear plugs. 

Minimise jewellery, heavy aromas and odours.

No passionate kissing or sexual activity. 

Please let a crew member know if you need to leave early.

Respect people's boundaries and space. 

Substance free, but not free of substance. 

Switch off your devices, and tune into your body.

Taking photos or videos is not permitted. 

Talking is kept to a minimum - if you need support reach out to a member of our crew.

Touch always requires consent. 

Use the allocated spaces for storing personal belongings. 

We aim to create a safe space.

We dance barefoot or in soft dance shoes. 

Work within the boundaries and limitations of your own body, heart, mind and spirit.

 

If these agreements are not adhered to, a warning will be given by the facilitator or a member of our crew, 

who will direct you to the facilitator if you are unhappy.

 

If any filming or photography has been taken without a prior arrangement, 

you will be asked to delete the images and files. 

 

Any form of unwanted touch is not acceptable, and the accused person/s will be asked to leave the space immediately. They will not return until an investigation can determine whether this person is innocent, or the community feels safe enough for them to return - only after they have been educated about appropriate behaviour. 

Any members of our community who have been affected will be directed to appropriate support services, 

and mediation will be offered if necessary.
